I used to be able to burn a large quantity of Wave files onto a disc and have them automatically converted to MP3s on the disc during the burning process. I tried this recently and am prompted that I cant burn an MP3 disc because some of the files are not ALREADY MP3s. Whats up? Is there some way to get them burned as MP3s without copying them as converted files first?

What kind of hardware are you running?

I'm running the same hardware I've always had. I've upgraded my OSX a few times(I have Tiger currently 10.4.11), and taken the itunes update a few times (I now have 7.6.2 (9)). But as far as hardware goes I'm only running what came with my G4 Imac which includes a DVD/CDR Superdrive Player/Burner. I think it must be related to the upgrades. I had the very first version of OSX when I got my Imac and the version of itunes that came with it. When any songlist I created contained too many songs to burn on an audio CD, itunes would give me a dialogue box stating that "all the songs will not fit on the CD, would you like to burn them as MP3s?". I would click YES, and POW... the computer was burning my wave files onto a disc as MP3S, while keeping them as wave files in itunes It doesn't want to do that now, and I don't understand why :(
