Good point and good news for me. Thank the gods I don't have to do that now. I have the newest OS, so my iTunes whining days are over. LOL!!!

this is not unique to iTunes.... both my son and ex-bf are gamers so I've seen the same thing with playstations and gameboys. Hell, it's even true for graphing calculators. What if your home computer was still an Apple 2e? No way would you expect to be able to run stuff that's coming out now, because it's beyond the machine's capabilities. They can only retro program so many things before it's no longer economically feasible for them.

Just say you're into vintage iTunes and call it a day ;)

Ok I love iTunes. But I am pretty upset about the updates. I think it is completely unfair and a creep decision of Mac to create a new form that will not update unless you have OS X 10.4 or higher. Why should others be cut off from the funky apps and other cool features? Yes I know it is because of the new iPod, but not everyone can afford to run and buy newer hardware and software every time a company decides to make the product better (or is it just a case of being greedy like someone else in Microsoft). Any thoughts, negative/ or abusive comments will be ignored. Lets not waste each others time.
